Oh my, oh my!

I have a new favorite. I was printing a sweet little onesie, much like one in my shop, but with a name on it for our friends' new niece. I decided to make a little set. I've dyed socks to match before, and I think it gives it a nice finishing touch. However, this time I tried something new.

I added in a burp cloth {cloth diaper} when I dyed, then printed the same image on it. {I though about flopping the colors on it, but didn't have time to dye 2 loads. Plus Beatrix will have other clothing to break up the outfit.} I am in love!

I love every detail about this little thing. The detail in the fabric is so sweet and dainty...and yet so handy. And washable. And positively showing up in my shop sometime soon.

And now I am off to put my sweet little man back in bed. He woke up crying as I began this post. I ran in {yep, seriously ran} and scooped him up. Then I laid him back in his bed and he said with in a very stern voice, "Lay down, Momma!" So I did and he gave me a huge goofy cheesy grin. Then followed me out here a few minutes later. So off to bed we go.

{Steph, I'll iron these before work and drop them by on my way. ;) }

family fest

I have been such a blog slacker lately. Acuallt I have been so incredibly busy! CT had it's first live presence this weekend! I worked a local family day. Unfortubately it wasn't much of a buying crowd, so not much was sold. However, I did have fun with my boddy who also sold there. It was a long day and we both got some sun (me = tan, Mandi = red, haha!). Mandi had me take her picture with every mascot she could find. The library dog/person, the college mascot, McGruff & a cop, Sparky (from AWANA), the clown... Yeah, she's a nut! I'm sure I'll have pics later.

In preparation for the big day I spent many hours printing and dyeing and racking my brain for what I'd need. It was a great experience and helped me figure stuff out for future events. I should be around more now that that is over. :)

Also to come, more t's (some babydoll) as soon as I get pictures of them. So keep an eye out!

iraq

My dear friend's hubby is in Iraq. For the second time. The first time they're 1st son was born. (He'll be 4 this month.) This time they have 2 little ones. They are the 'rents of Ki's girlfriend who's 1.5. Needless to say, Jess has her hands full! If you think of my buddy, say a prayer for their sweet family. They could use it. (Hopefully he'll be home in a few months!) In the mean time I came across this today. It totally made me think of her. And cracks me up. The color is even perfect. Too bad they don't sell prints...

Love you JP!
